Purpose:
- To honor individuals whose work has contributed significantly to international
understanding, cooperation, and friendship with colleagues in Region IV
- To recognize a non-member for their distinguished service to people in
Region IV
- To recognize the richness of Region IV’s international connections,
concerns and commitments in a variety of arenas by presenting an award to
someone from Region IV that truly stands out
Eligibility and Criteria for Selection:
- Any person who lives and/or works in the Region IV area is eligible to be
nominated for this award
- Individuals can not be a member of NAFSA Region IV Team
- The nominees will exemplify the following characteristics:
- Clear and significant contributions to Region IV
- A strong commitment to international understanding and cooperation
- A demonstrated sense of mutuality and respect in relations with others
in the Region
- Distinguished service to international education and high involvment
through service to others in Region IV
- Deadline for Nominations: Nominations and supporting materials must
be received by October 1st of any given year.
